Su temática se centra en la figura humana asi como en la vida y espiritualidad de los
campesinos y la gente humilde, dentro de una línea figurativa y en diversas técnicas,
principalmente acuarelas y dibujos sobre papel de gran formato

Hails from Arequipa, Peru, has been living in Mexico since 1977 and has shown his work
individually and in group exhibits in Mexico, USA, Canada, Poland, Cuba, Peru, Holland, Argentina
amongst other counties
His subject matter focuses on the human figure, as well as on the life and spirituality of
the humble and working people; within a figurative format and in various media, principally
watercolour and drawings on paper of large dimensions.

In 1980 he founded the Taller de Grabado (Printmaking Workshop), in Casa de la Cultura de Léon, Guanajuato (Mex), and creates the Workshop Taller Gráfica Infantil (Children’s Printmaking Workshop), and carries out local, national as well as international expositions in USA, Poland, India, Cuba, Bulgaria. in 1982 he arranges Primer Festival de Mural Infantil (First Children’s Mural Festival) and until 1987 teaches in the same institution, courses in printing, anatomy, drawings and painting.
In 1982 he illustrates the Poetry Page, Con Permiso, in El Sol de Léon newspaper. In 1983 he illustrates the Poetry Posters for Arídas Márgenes in Guanajuato. from 1984 to 1986 he illustrates the Poetry Notebooks La Vida no Vale Nada for Casa de la Cultura de Léon.
In 1998 he recieves Honorable Mention in the XII Diego Rivera Drawings and PrintmakingBiennial in Guanajuato; and he is in 1990 and 2006 selected for the II and III international Miniature Art Biennial in Czestochowa, Poland. In 2000 he is selected for the II International Miniature Art Biennial in Ville Mariè, Quebec, Canada. In 1989 he takes part in Correo para el intercambio de Pequeñes Estampa (CIPE) (Mail for exchange of Small Stamps) in Havana, Cuba.
He has participated in 27 Collective Expositions in Cuba, Poland, Canada, USA, Perú and México
(León, Guanajuato, Durango, Monterrey, D.F., Cuernavaca, San Miguel Allende, Aguascalientes).
He has installed 12 individual shows: Pequeños-Grandes Mundos (Gallería Jesús Gallardo, León,
México and Alianza Francesa, in Lima and Arequipa, Perú - 2006). Como Eternos Dados (Gene Byro
Museum, Guanajuato - 2000). Bocetos, Estudios, Pinturas (City Museum, León - 1997). Raza (middelsex
County College, Edison NJ, USA - 1988). En el Camino Andamos (Museo del Pueblo, Guanajuato - 1986).
