Biografía breve

Nacida en Buenos Aires, Argentina, Carlota Petrolini estudia en las Escuelas Nacionales de Bellas Artes hasta egresar de la “Manuel Belgrano” en 1958 y de la “Prilidiano Pueyrredón” en 1964

En el año 2008 participó del programa de Ceramistas Latinoamericanos (Sino-Latin American Ceramic Art Exchange Program) en Beijing, China. La obra realizada se encuentra en el Fule International Ceramic Art Museums, en dicho país.

En el 2004 recibió el Gran Premio Adquisición del Salón Nacional de Cerámica, en dicho año obtuvo así mismo el segundo premio del Salón del Comité Olímpico Argentino de la selección para Grecia.

Es galardonada con el Gran Premio de Honor del Centro Argentino de Arte Cerámico en el año 2002
En 1995 obtuvo el premio único del Apartado Relieve del Salón Nacional de Escultura, Secretaria de Cultura de la Nación
En 1993, Primer Premio XXVIII Salón Nacional de Cerámica.

1990, expone en el Distrito Federal de México Auspiciada por la Embajada Argentina. Sus numerosas exposiciones fueron realizadas también en España, Alemania, Francia, Cuba, China y Argentina.

Dentro de las incontables muestras se encuentran Museos como; Museo de Bellas Artes de Tandil, Museo Larreta, Museo Perlotti, Museo Sivori, Museo Carlos Gardel, Museo Casa de Yrurtia. Galerías como, Lirolay, Lagard, Atica, Thames, Bacanno, Brandy, Biblioteca Nacional, Banco de la Nación Argentina, entre otras. Expo trastienda, Arte Ba, Centro Cultural Recoleta, Centro Cultural Borges, Salas Nacionales de Exposición.

English summary

Carlota Petrolini was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated in 1958 in Fine Arts School Manuel Belgrano and Prilidiano Pueyrredón in 1964.
She attended the Escuela Superior Ernesto de la Cárcova where she studied monocopy and mural work; and painting ar the prilidiano Pueyredón School.
She got scholarship at Universidad Central del Ecuador to take a couse on education planing. She took part in the creativity research group directed by Emilio Renard and seminar with Felipe Noé. She received a grant to visit the VII Exposition Bienal de San Pablo.
Since 1958, she has been a teacher in several Municipal ans State Schools and workshops. She gave private classes in her studio.
She has receive a number of honors as the "Los Gansos" the First Prize National Potery Salon, great prize in the international Exhibition of the "Centro Argentino de Arte Cerámico", and the first prize in the Potery National Exihibition with the installation "In own flesh". The sole prize of relief in the LXXXIV National Sculpture Exhibition. The second Prize, of the Art and Culture International Competition of the Argentine Olympic Committee
